Big Kid Rooms - What's Your Style?

What is it that’s so special about a child’s room? I really don’t know – but children’s rooms are special! It’s not just that it’s a child’s own space. It’s not just that it can be creative and imaginative and fun. It’s not just that it inspires a child’s imagination, or that the room can be a jungle one minute and a pit of hot lava the next minute. Maybe it’s a combination of all those, or of the whimsy you can add to a child’s room while it still being a part of the cohesive “home” space you’ve created. No matter what it is, there’s no denying that decorating a child’s room is just plain fun.

At Daisy Baby, we strive to make it more fun by carrying many different lines of furniture, bedding, and accessories to meet your child’s needs and imagination… and your sense of style, too.

What are some of our favorite big kid lines?

Stanley Young America carries furniture that’s classic but streamlined. When combined with a pastel color palette, it can be sweet and even old-fashioned… and when combined with a modern color palette, it can be unique and bold!

Everyone knows about Oeuf’s Sparrow crib, and their sleekly modern nursery furniture. But what could you do with their Perch bunk bed? What about not using the bottom bed – and instead using the underneath space as a library, a hideout, a cave, a fort, curtained child’s lair? What would you do with that space?

We’ve talked about modern, and versatile… what about more traditional? Relics furniture makes traditional bench-made furniture. It’s made to order, and comes in a huge variety of finishes. Their cottage styling can be masculine for a little boy, or sweet for a little girl – they even have trundle and day beds.

No matter what you choose for your big kid room, Daisy Baby has it. You know about our custom linens – but come check out our new ready-made linens from Auggie! They’re somehow both sweetly traditional and sleekly modern at the same time. Are you feeling nostalgic for your own room as a child? Excited to design your big kid bedroom? What did you always want to have as a kid? Trundle bed? Canopy? Bunk bed? A dressing table? Tell us about it!
