Happy Holidays!

Our last Holiday top 5 is from none other than Daisy Baby’s lovely proprietor, Dana! Dana is mom of Ever, 9 months. She’s got her finger on the pulse of Bethesda, ladies and gents, and knows just what you’re craving for your tots this holiday season – so let’s see what she’s craving for her sweetie!

5. Elephant Ears – These are the best head support, and they’re so flexible. We can move it when we need it – car seat, high chair, wherever it’s necessary!

4. Jonathan Adler Diaper Bags – these are new in the shop, and they’re just what I’m wishing for! They’re cool and funky, they make me wish I needed another diaper bag just because I want one!

3. Bundle Me by JJ Cole – This is such a simple way to keep your cuties warm in the cold weather. No struggling to fit those flailing feet in individual pant legs – just pop them in the warm Bundle Me and you’re on your way!

2. Oopsy Daisy Art – I’ve been wanting to find a company with a plethora of artwork, and Oopsy Daisy is it. They have a large variety of both modern and traditional art – whatever suits your style, you can find it with Oopsy Daisy!

1. Mamas and Papas Pixi High Chair – this high chair is wonderful. It folds flat, including the tray, so it’s nice and thin. It’s super for Grandma’s house, or a small space. The style is sleek and modern – if that describes you, we’ve got your high chair!

All of us at Daisy Baby wish you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Joyous Kwanzaa, and Happy Everything!

Christine's Five Faves

It’s Christina again – I hope your holiday season is going just wonderful! I have another list of the top five favorite items from one of our fabulous staff members – check out Christine’s faves!

Christine has a son, Nicholas, who is 2.5 – so she’s been through the baby deal and she knows what’s going on! If you’re looking for something for yourself or a baby shower, her top 5 has got it!

5. Finn and Emma – our new clothing from Finn and Emma is just so cute, and I love lavender! The color and detail on the tiny clothes just make me smile.

4. Trumpette socks in Argyle – When Nicholas wears these, he looks just like daddy on the golf course. Too cute!

3. Cloud B Twilight Turtle – This is great for babies and older children. The star display is so calming, and older children can turn it on and off by themselves – putting themselves to sleep! (Just how fantastic is that?)

2. Momma’s Jewels – These are wonderful to make mom feel special and feminine, and because they’re smooth and sterling silver baby can play with them and gum them without causing any parental panic!

1. Wiggle and Scoot bibs and burp cloths – These are such a great set to take to a baby shower! They’re so customizable and they monogram well, in addition to being just plain cute on their own!

What do you think of Christine’s Five Faves? Let us know what your top five would be!

Holiday Five Faves!

Hi there! My name’s Christina. I’m new at Daisy Baby, and I’ll be working the blog scene for a while. I also hope to see you in the store soon! For now, why don’t you check out some of our favorite items for the upcoming holidays? Some of the Daisy Baby staff would love to share their favorites with you, and we hope you agree we have some pretty fantastic things in the shop right now!

Let’s start with my favorites, since – you guessed it – I’m the one writing this!

I’m Christina, and I have two children – Caeden, age 2.5 and Madeleine, age 7 months. I want to share my top five Daisy Baby items for my kids’ ages… so here we go!

5. Guava Kids Mitts – these little mittens are just adorable. The patterns are cuter than any mitts I’ve ever seen. They protect your babe’s hands, and they protect her sweet little face from those tiny nails!

4. Dwell Studio Woodland Memory Game – This one’s for the toddlers. The design on it is gorgeous – modern and sleek but with that old-fashioned touch of natural wood! Kids can learn their colors and play memory or matching games – it’s wonderful for many different stages of development.

3. Day of the Week Bib Set by Petites Frites – We just got these in the store! I love day of the week things; I always have, so these just touched a note… the 8 year old inside me glowed with joy! What’s cuter to catch your cutie’s drool than these brightly colored bibs?

2. Carlino clothing – Carlino clothing is made of the softest cotton I’ve ever felt. It doesn’t lose that softness after washing, either! It’s so baby-sweet with the white and pastel colors, and so easy to customize with a monogram because there are no busy patterns. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this clothing – my Maddie smiles when I pick one of her Carlino tees from the drawer because she knows how soft they are!

1. Sock Ons – Yes, they work! You have no idea how many socks I’ve lost. From California to Maryland to Florida… if you see a baby sock on the ground somewhere, it probably once belonged to my family! I love Sock Ons – when I put them on my baby I don’t have to keep pulling up her socks, only to discover at the end of the day that one is missing anyhow! Sock Ons make parenting just a little bit easier – and who doesn’t need that?
