Your Style: Bedroom Design for Adults

We at Daisy Baby definitely tend to help you create your nurseries, for the most part. But that doesn't mean we don't love to help you create a space for you, too! Happy parents make happy babies, and we LOVE to make sure parents are happy with their space!

Many of our companies also create furniture and linens for adults. No matter your style, we can accommodate you - is your house modern? Traditional? Beachy? Cottage-y, eclectic? Let us know, and we can help you build your ideal bedroom.

The beautiful neutrals below would build a serene bedroom! (From Surya, Four Seasons, Newport Cottages, and Elizabeth Allen.)

New Things for Modern Baby Lines

The world of design is constantly changing - one line is redesigned, another is replaced. Things are constantly getting better and better, more and more innovative! What does that mean for you?

If you love the old design, you're in luck! You can now buy whatever we have in stock at a discount.

If you love the new design, you're in luck! That's what they're now making.

So, really, no matter what, it's a lucky break for you when our companies change things up a bit! Let's take a quick look at what changes we're seeing so far for 2013.

Oeuf has discontinued their Sparrow and Classic dressers - they're being replaced with the Merlin. (We happen to have a gray Sparrow on the floor right now... anyone looking to complete their set?) They've also replaced their Robin line with the new, updated Rhea line - which is looking pretty spectacular.

Spot on Square has redesigned their Eicho collection, and we currently have an Eicho crib in the shop (the Eicho is already affordable - you can pick this up for a song now. Anyone love modern?)

Don't forget we also have a Spot on Square Roh bookshelf!

We have sad news, as well. Muu, a great company who created quality US made products, has suspended their operations. Their supplier could no longer manufacture their products, and they were unable to find anyone new. This does, of course, still mean good deals for you. If you love Muu, it's time to act fast - we currently have 3 Ray cribs in honey and walnut, and a Ray dresser!

Let’s Talk About…. Spot on Square

We’re constantly bringing new lines into the store, trying out new furniture and new products. Why? We want to find the best items out there! And when we find something we think is pretty fabulous, we want to share it with you. What’s fabulous right now? Spot on Square.

Spot on Square makes furniture – they’re into modern, iconic, minimalist design. Modern is totally on trend right now, and Spot on Square’s design is super-innovative. Example? The Lucite crib from the Roh collection – it’s new, it’s different, and it’s got an esthetic all its own. If you want your child to grow up appreciating quality design, you can start by surrounding your little sweetie with simple, eco-conscious, modern pieces from the very beginning.

Modern design’s cool and all, but maybe you’re looking for natural, earth-friendly furniture for your sweet eco-baby? Spot on Square uses sustainable processes to build their furniture. They also use sustainable materials like bamboo, recycled or reclaimed MDF (made with formaldehyde-free adhesives), and natural colored and locally sourced woods. They use nontoxic, durable finishes – so when your little one starts testing out those new little pearly whites you can be sure your nursery furniture is safe – for your cutie, if not from!

Also fantastic? Spot on Square is US manufactured – in Grand Rapids, Michigan… and it was founded by parents, just like you! Designers Nicole and Robert Springer are parents of three… so you can bet Spot on Square is not just gorgeous, it’s child-friendly, too! Come on in the store and take a look – you can see the Roh Lucite crib in our window (which recently sold, so it won't be around long - come to the store and have a quick peek!), and check out some other pieces too. We look forward to seeing you!
